Pianist, performer and teacher, Anna Avetisyan, is a native of Armenia, Yerevan. She began her piano studies at the age of 6 and continued her professional musical education for 11 years. Anna holds a Professional Piano Performance degree from Armenia and is currently majoring in Piano Performance at University of Southern California, under instruction of Dr. Steward Gordon.

 

Anna has performed in many piano concerts, competitions, and performed as a soloist both in Armenia and United States. She has received numerous scholarships and awards. Some of the biggest accomplishments include the first prize by Armenian Allied Arts Annual Competition and second prize at Honor’s Competition by CAMPT.

 

Anna has been teaching piano for the past 7 years. With a huge desire of giving the best knowledge, she focuses on each student’s needs, abilities and desires. Anna is dedicated to teaching students the techniques they need to continue playing music for a lifetime.
