Born and raised in Kawasaki, Japan, with both of her parents being in the Musical Theater industry, Erica learned singing, dancing and acting at a very young age. She was in numerous musical theater productions since the age of 6. After she graduated high school, Erica joined a performing arts organization called “The Young Americans” where she traveled around the world teaching music and dance to children of all ages. She has performed with stars such as Leonard Nimoy, Lionel Richie, Shirley Jones, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Kelli O’Hara, Hue Panero just to name a few.

 

Erica graduated from Berklee College of Music with a BA in vocal performance under the mentorship of Grammy winning artist Paula Cole. Erica has been teaching students of all ages and levels for 6 years. She is very dedicated to student’s progress, motivating them to take an interest in their lessons and the songs they choose. Her constant encouragement and enthusiasm for students keeps them excited. Erica continues to pursue her passion for performing and teaching students of all ages the joy of music.
